Tank commander Vitaly Dolgorukova took note of his son’s nervousness on the first day of school,
and thought of a way to ease the tension. With the knowledge that his Ukrainian town saw tanks more regularly than most, he took his machine out for a spin to make a splash with the student body. His plan worked; while one would think that the sight of an incoming tank would cause more fear than excitement, Dolgorukova’s son and plenty of other kids got to go gaga.'
