That Moment" by Lin Hanbing. The bone crack in the middle stands for the break of backbone of theChinese nation |
The Chinese so easily forget the pain when the scar is cicatrized, which makes me sad," said Lin Hanbing.
Lin, a fish bone artist, resides in Fujian province's Gulangyu island in southern China, and thinks that the Chinese should engrave the pain caused by the War of Resistance againstJapanese Aggression.
"Remembering the pain does not mean staying hateful, rather, it is to remind us to empowerourselves," Lin said, adding, "lagging behind leaves one vulnerable to attacks."
