Perfection! Perfection!! Perfection!!!
We live in a world where everything around us especially the media drums into our heads how imperfect our lives are ,We don't have the models body,nor the voice of an Angel,We dont make A+ grades in school,everyone tries to paint the perfect picture,the battered wife will put on 5 layers of make-up to hide the Black -Eye.
People go on Social media to flaunt what they have sometimes to hide the emptiness of what lies inside ,and how imperfect their life really is .....
It is OK to be imperfect,to feed a child and have the Mammary glands sag,to go out of the house without make-up sometimes,to have a zits, to show the world that in vulnerability we find strength,that although a lion crouches to catch its prey,doesn't make it a coward,same with our imperfections ,perfect people don't live on earth ,they are in heaven .
Who really is perfect but the Creator ?
We can only strive with loving our neighbors as ourselves
What to do
Accept yourself ,strive to be the best in all you do and when sometimes you fall short of being worthy ,Say to yourself
I Love you,Please Forgive Me ,I am Sorry Thank you
